Guide: Quick Chat WhatsApp Guide
This guide explains our simple process for communication. We use WhatsApp to make our collaboration easy and efficient, but we must also protect our project's integrity.
This guide explains our simple process for communication. We use WhatsApp to make our collaboration easy and efficient, but we must also protect our project's integrity.
What it is: A simple tool for quick, informal messages.
Why we use it: It's the fastest way to send a simple update that doesn't need a long email (e.g., "Files uploaded!" or "Running 5 minutes late.").
To keep our project organised and on track, we have a clear process for how we use WhatsApp.
What It's For (Good Use):
Quick Updates: "Just letting you know, the new logo drafts are in your Workspace!"
Quick Questions: "Did you get my email?"
Scheduling: "Running 5 minutes late for our Google Meet call."
Positive Vibes: "This is looking great!"
What It's NOT For (What to Avoid):
Giving Feedback: Please do not send detailed project feedback over WhatsApp.
Sending Files: Please do not send official project files (logos, documents, etc.).
Official Approvals: Please do not give your final "sign-off" or approval.
To keep your project organised, all official decisions must be in your Client Workspace (Google Drive) or Email.
Why? We need a central, "auditable record" of all feedback and approvals. If feedback is lost in a long WhatsApp chat, it can lead to confusion. By using Google Drive Comments for feedback and Email for approvals, we ensure we have a clear and official record.
