Guide: Meetings - Google Meet
This guide explains our process for all formal meetings. We use Google Meet for all our scheduled video calls.
This guide explains our process for all formal meetings. We use Google Meet for all our scheduled video calls.
What it is: A high-quality, reliable video conferencing tool that works in your browser.
Why we use it (vs. a quick phone call):
We use Google Meet for all formal, scheduled meetings (like our "Discovery & Strategy" session) because it's professional, auditable, and integrated into our calendar.
This process allows us to create formal "Meeting Minutes" (notes) from our discussion and save them in your Client Workspace. This gives us both a clear and shared record of all key project decisions.
This is a simple process.
When we book a meeting (using the Booking page), you will automatically receive a Google Calendar invite.
Inside that invite, you will see a link to "Join with Google Meet."
Simply click that link at the time of our meeting. There are no complex apps to install; it works right in your web browser.
Share Your Screen: If you want to show me an example website or document, you can easily share your screen.
View My Screen: I will use this to present concepts, walk you through your website, or review our "Living Brief" together.
Mute / Camera Off: You have full control over your microphone and camera.
